A new perspective, rooted in an old tradition.

Four pillars. One of you.

Meet Saju 사주

You have a pattern.
Follow the thread.

Saju means “four pillars.” In this Korean tradition, your birth year, month, day and hour form a chart interpreted through five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

Clew brings those interpretations into the things that feel personal. How you connect. What you need. Why some situations feel so familiar.

A lens for reflection. Your choices are still yours.

A little context

Curious is a good
place to start.

Is Saju the same as Western astrology?

They’re different traditions. Western astrology interprets the positions of celestial bodies. Saju interprets the four pillars of your birth through the traditional cycles of yin, yang and the five elements. “Korean astrology” is a familiar way to introduce Saju.

Do I need to know anything about Saju?

No. You can start with a question about yourself or your relationships. Clew introduces the tradition in plain English, with room to explore the ideas behind a reading.

What goes into a personal reading?

Your birth date, time, and city form a calculated chart. Clew uses historical time-zone rules and local solar-time correction. If you don’t know your time, we omit the hour pillar and label the reading provisional. No login is needed.

Does a reading tell me what will happen?

Saju is a traditional interpretive practice. Treat a reading as a prompt for self-reflection and entertainment, rather than a guarantee about future events or someone else’s feelings.

Korean roots. Personal meaning.

There’s more to you.
